The Aussie teen pop-punk band have embarked on their Party Crashing tour, which will arrive at Weston Workers Club on February 5.
The band features Kurri Kurri's Bailey Graeber on drums and Central Coast boys Brandon Alexander (lead vocals), Jamie Bailey (guitar), Lee Hackney (bass) and Jacob Richardson (rhythm guitar).
Graeber, 18, said last year was a “gigantic rollercoaster” for the band, and that they hope 2017 would bring even bigger and better things.
Kid Zr0 gained international attention in May with their cover of Pink’s ‘Just Like Fire’, which was shared by the superstar herself to her 32 million Facebook followers.
They seized an opportunity to record in Los Angeles in July, which Graeber said was an “insane” experience.
“It was pretty surreal,” he said.
“One day we were playing in small venues and the next minute we were recording in LA.
“I don’t think it really hit me until it was all over.
“Looking back I really want to go back right now.”
Kid Zr0's debut single 'Rich Guys Party' was released in September and has since earned more than 50,000 plays on Spotify, while its music video has been played on Foxtel’s ‘V Hits’.
Graeber said it’s been a hectic couple of months preparing for the Party Crashing tour, but that the boys are constantly writing and thinking ahead.
“We’re always coming up with ideas and seeing what opportunities will pop up,” he said.
Kid Zr0’s Weston Workers Club gig is an all-ages show.
Doors will open at 12pm. Tickets are available at oztix.com.au.
