During a period of uncertainty for many businesses, Agi Mooy and Linda Sutherland are experiencing success as Herbalife distributors.
The duo aim to make an impact through educating Upper Hunter residents on a philosophy of 80 per cent nutrition, 20 per cent exercise, and 100 per cent mindset and gratification.
“We’re more about not selling a product but helping people on their journey,” Ms Mooy says.
“We want to service individual needs in a like-minded community where they can flourish.
“This [role] enables us to give back to the community what’s missing, which is a smile and dynamic energy.
“We try and help make people aware of what is going on with themselves so they can help themselves.”
Ms Mooy adds the correct mindset is the first step on the journey.
“If you can shape your mind into a positive aspect it will then work with you, or at least support you when the going gets tough instead of being against you,” she says.
“Second, and most importantly, is our bodies.
“You need to feed your body correctly and get some movement every day.
“Lastly, it’s about feeding your soul.
“You need to treat yourself well and fill yourself up before you can be anything to everyone else.”
Ms Mooy is eager for more community-minded events in Scone, and expressed an interest to “lock arms” with other local companies.
She believes giving back to the community is crucial for a business to remain sustainable.
