‘The Table Breaking Club’ Facebook page has more than 87,000 likes including a number of residents of Cootamundra.
On January 29, a video was posted of the young man making the jump and smacking head-first into the bin featuring the distinctive CSC (Cootamundra Shire Council) lettering.
A subsequent photo on the Facebook post shows a young man missing teeth.
The page was created by a Wagga born-and-bred administrator who spoke to The Daily Advertiser last month explaining where it all started.
“The first time it happened we were at a party and just decided to break a table,” he said.
“The next day we showed it to our friends and they thought it was hilarious so we made it for a bit of a laugh,” he continued.
Within months, ‘likes’ were growing and people’s antics getting more daring.
New videos are being uploaded daily coming in from across the world.
