This year HPOTS is celebrating 35 years of training in the resources, mining and infrastructure industries and continues the ongoing development of its services to the industry.
The school prides itself on its focus for providing tangible solutions to clients and was recognised with an award for training program of year in 2016 .
The School now provides training, assessment and course design services to a broad range of Australian clients.
HPOTS Training has evolved into a training organisation that provides a range of specialist training and training related services to the construction, mining and infrastructure industries.
The RTOs (Registered Training Organisation) business focus has moved from providing all heavy equipment training on its own equipment on-site to providing services that the client requires virtually anywhere from Cessnock to all state and territories.
HPOTS recognises that industries require flexible, customised training that targets the unique needs of a site or project.
In many instances customised training does meet the accreditation requirements of the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) thereby giving the advantage of recognition and portability with training that clearly addresses the commercial priorities of the client.
HPOTS Training is a Nationally Registered Training Organisation (ID: 90352) registered with the Australian Quality Skills Authority (ASQA).
HPOTS Training is also approved with SafeWork NSW to deliver High Risk Work Licenses (Approval number: 800 180).
VOCs or Verification of Competencies is offered for all Plant Equipment skills. Upon successful completion of competency, a nationally recognised statement of attainment and wallet card is awarded.
