The Hunter defeated Sydney West easily in their semi-final on Wednesday, while South Coast accounted for Riverina.
Both teams are unbeaten going in the championship decider – a 50-over encounter which starts at 9.30am at Robins Oval.
All 10 teams will be in action at Maitland Park on Thursday with play-off games to decide the finishing order in the championships.

The Hunter girls have won their four opening matches at the Combined High School cricket championships in Maitland to book a spot in Wednesday’s semi-finals.
The Hunter defeated Sydney South-West and North West zones on Tuesday, after beating North Coast and Riverina on the opening day.
South Coast and the Hunter are the only two undefeated teams after two days of Twenty20 games and will be in opposite semi-finals on Wednesday when the format switches to one-day contests.
Wednesday’s games:
Hunter v Sydney West at Louth Park.
South Coast v Riverina at Robins Oval.
Sydney North v Sydney East at SMR.
Sydney South-West v Western at GUOOF.
North Coast v North West at Blackhill.
All games start at 9.30am

The Hunter has opened the Combined High School cricket championships in Maitland with a win against North Coast.
The Hunter team, which features Maitland’s Jasmine Goode and Cassidy Baker, is pitted against nine other zones in the annual competition.
Teams played two Twenty20 games on the opening day and will also have Twenty20 double-headers on Tuesday.
They will be ranked after the Twenty20s with one-day games following on Wednesday and the finals on Thursday.
