The Kearsley Crushers continued their outstanding trial form beating Hexham Jets 40-0 at Jeffrey Park on Sunday.

Crushers halfback Alex Davey was in scintillating form scoring five tries much to the delight of the big home crowd.
Beau Lantry opened the scoring for the Crushers just three minutes into the first of three 20-minute periods.
Davey intercepted the ball 20 metres out to score his first at the 10 minute mark.
Kearsley’s fullback Jordan Schofield crossed next from a Will McGarry pass 15 minutes in. Davey scored four minutes later.
The second period saw tries to Lantry and Davey to extend the lead out to 24.
A four-try final term saw Sam Burrage score a try and Davey cross twice as well as passing an an assist to Dean Wearing to close out a 40-0 result.
Davey collected the man-of-the-match award.
The Kearsley Crushers play Swansea on Saturday at 3pm at Jeffrey Park, Kearsley.
