Mel Harrison and Leigh Creighton have smashed personal goals, achieved amazing outcomes and have created their own awesome and unique lives.
Ms Harrison is a professional advocate, trainer and a fitness fanatic – who also happens to be a wheelchair user.
Mr Creighton is a passionate self-advocate and speaker who works as a peer mentor supporting people with disability to speak up for themselves. He also has Down syndrome.
An Awesome Life is a free event for young people with and without disability aged 15 to 26 years, and their friends, families and supporters.
It will be packed with information stalls, demonstrations, great speakers and activities.
