The HVWTA recently engaged Newcastle PR Agency House of Airlie to assist our marketing team to promote the Hunter Valley and to facilitate famils with key local and national media from wine, food and lifestyle online and print publications.
The objective is to mostly promote upcoming events including Hunter Valley Wine and Food Festival in May and June, Legends Awards on the May 25 and last weekend’s successful event, Hunter Uncorked Avalon.
The media coverage is a vital part of promoting these events to consumers and building awareness of the Hunter Valley brand. The HVWTA and House of Airlie also organised ‘The Locavore Trail Media Famil’ during March and April, when some of Australia’s top food writers visited the Hunter Valley to discover some of our region’s culinary and wine legends.
We are excited what upcoming editorial this unique famil will bring.
JETSTAR VISIT
This month HVWTA hosted key decision makers from Jetstar Airlines in conjunction with Newcastle Airport.
The famil demonstrated to Jetstar that we have a desirable leisure destination and strengthens the relationship between Newcastle Airport and HVWTA. We look forward to future opportunities to promote the Hunter Valley as primary destination.
