The Hornets will host Hamilton at Turner Park in a mid-week fixture in the first week of May.
Hornets coach Lino Gatti said it was an exciting prospect for the club, with a big crowd expected to come along for the night.
“It’s an exciting opportunity for our players also to challenge themselves against a top side,” Gatti said.
The Hornets had a dismal night in last Wednesday’s round three catch-up clash against South Cardiff, losing 5-1. Cessnock trailed 4-0 at half-time but put in an improved second-half performance with the Travas Mccabe scoring a long goal.
The Hornets have boosted their squad with former Hamilton midfielder Luke Marino joining the club. They face New Lambton at Turner Park on Saturday.
