About 80 people attended the event at Kurri Kurri Seniors Citizens Centre, enjoying live music and a fashion parade.
Social committee secretary Nita Cassidy said the funds will be distributed to the many charitable organisations the branch supports throughout the year.
Some of the causes they have supported in the past include Alzheimer’s, leukaemia and Jodie’s Place women’s refuge.
The committee is planning a fundraising lunch for diabetes on July 31 at Weston Workers Club.
