Meeting their Newcastle Knights heroes was a huge day for dozens of youngsters but none more so than birthday boy Aiden Brownlie who was received a signed jersey from the Knights.

“It’s a surprise for his birthday,” Aiden’s mum Skye said of the visit to the Huntlee estate for the meet and greet with Knights players on Sunday.
“The two boys are sports mad and they didn’t know we were coming to see the Knights. It’s a surprise birthday present for Aiden.”
The Knights held court running boys and girls through training drills and joining in games.
There were also face painting and temporary tattoos.
