Abermain wore special socks with Marlie’s name emblazoned on them.
The Hawks and Crushers have each shared a double-header fixture this season, with funds from Kearsley’s game going to the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service.
Kearsley and Maitland United kicked off proceedings on Marlie and the Hawks’ special day.
