Veteran country music singer-songwriter Slim Newton will headline the list of performers at the inaugural Country Music Muster at Richmond Vale Railway Museum on Saturday, July 29.

Newton is world-renowned for his lyrics to The Redback on the Toilet Seat, but the new event is themed around his recent version of Through the Window of a Train.
Supporting artists on the program include Amanda Collins, TC Collins, Greg Bain, the Michael Wilks Duo, Sarah Christine, Tony Johns and Briza.
Gates at the museum will open at 12noon with the program getting under way at about 1pm. Train rides on the museum’s railway will be available until 6pm as part of the admission price.
Other features of the day include market stalls, and a small display of vintage trucks.
The museum canteen will be open supplying drinks and snacks, including a sausage sizzle and homemade soup.
Adult admission is $10 per head, with children admitted free.
