The ball was held at Tamburlaine Winery on Saturday night, with 170 people in attendance, who were entertained and inspired by guest speaker, Olympic sprinter Raelene Boyle.
It raised about $18,000 for the Breast Cancer Network of Australia, with donations still to come in.
The ball was organised by Cessnock breast cancer survivor Katrina Richardson, who became a BCNA community liaison in 2010.
Ms Richardson organised the original run of Perfect Pink Balls from 2004 to 2010, and decided to bring the ball back this year after this year’s BCNA Summit, at which the theme was “Making a Difference”.
“BCNA works to ensure that Australians affected by breast cancer receive the very best support, information, treatment and care appropriate to their individual needs, through supporting, informing, representing and connecting Australian affected by breast cancer,” she said.
