Ice allegedly found on motorbike rider in Weston
In the early hours of Monday morning police stopped a motorcycle rider on Cessnock Road, Weston.

Police became suspicious and searched the 26-year-old rider, and allegedly located a small quantity of the illegal drug methylamphetamine (commonly known as ice).
The drug was confiscated and the man will be attending Cessnock Court.
Disqualified driver
At 6am on Sunday morning police stopped a vehicle on Wollombi Road, Millfield and allegedly discovered the 43-year-old male driver was disqualified from driving until 2020 for previous driving offences.
The man will now be attending Cessnock Court. This is a great example of how police patrol the back roads.
Drink driving
Over the weekend two motorists were detected driving with the middle range prescribed level of alcohol in their blood.
Both drivers had their licences suspended and will be attending Cessnock Court.
In the second matter a 34-year-old male driver was stopped in Mackellar Street, Cessnock in the early hours of Sunday morning after he failed to dim his lights while driving past a police vehicle.
Possession of prohibited weapons
On Wednesday evening a 26-year-old male was allegedly found in possession of a electrical shock weapon, (commonly known as a taser), a set of knuckle dusters and a baseball bat with embedded spikes when his car was searched on Wollombi Road, Cessnock.
The prohibited weapons were confiscated and legal action has been taken.
Request for information about stolen cement mixer
On the evening of Tuesday, September 5 a commercial cement mixer was stolen from house under construction in Traders Way, Cliftleigh.
