Cessnock and Kurri Kurri Libraries are in for a magical time these school holidays with magician extraordinaire JD Howlett performing his show on Thursday, October 5.

JD’s show is full of surprises, laughs and audience participation that will get the entire family involved.
The Kurri show will start at 10am and the Cessnock show will be held at 1pm. Tickets are $5. Visit the libraries to book your place.
Younger witches and wizards will have the opportunity to learn how to perform a couple of magic tricks at the Abracadabra magic workshop at Kurri Kurri Library on September 25 at 2pm, and Cessnock Library on September 29 at 10am.
Wand-making workshops will be held at Cessnock on September 28 at 2pm and Kurri on October 3 at 2pm.
There will also be activities for teenage witches and wizards with a special Practical Magic workshop on September 28 at 10.30am. Book your place at Cessnock Library.
Other school holiday activities include terrarium workshops and a robotics meeting.
The library will also continue their regular storytime and rhymetime programs throughout the holiday period.

CRAFTERNOON TEA AT THE CWA

CESSNOCK REGIONAL ART GALLERY

HUNTER VALLEY GARDENS
Hunter Valley Gardens will host its Mega Creatures display during the school holidays.
Mega Creatures showcases some of Australia’s largest animatronic bugs, dragons and dinosaurs.
HORSE RIDING LESSONS

GO-KARTS-GO
