A service designed to improve customer convenience will be introduced at Coles Kurri Kurri on Wednesday.
The Click and Collect service could benefit everyone from people with mobility issues to busy parents who don’t have time to get the kids out of the car.
As the name suggests, customers can place an order online (with a minimum spend of $50), park in the designated car parks during their nominated timeslot, call the number on the sign and the staff will bring their shopping to the car at no extra cost.
Coles Kurri Kurri support manager Kylie Gregory said the store has had a lot of interest since the signs went up late last week.
“It’s exciting,” she said.
Ms Gregory said Click and Collect is not only a great service, it has also helped create up to 10 new jobs in the store and has provided development opportunities for current staff.
Coles Click and Collect was launched in Victoria in 2011 and is now available at more than 50 locations Australia-wide.
