Seventy-two teams will take to the track around and through the Cessnock TAFE grounds.

This years grand prix will include the main event, a celebrity race and the Cessnock Cup, featuring the best of the rest.

Festivities will kick off at Peden's Hotel the afternoon before, where fans can catch up with all the teams and grid girls.

First held in 2014, the postie bike grand prix has drawn crowds of up to 10,000 people to the Cessnock CBD.
