It will be the fifth year the chamber has partnered with BPW Cessnock to hose the White Ribbon breakfast, which will be held at Cessnock Leagues Club on Tuesday, November 14.
November is White Ribbon Month, Australia’s only national, male-led campaign to end men’s violence against women.
The breakfast will include guests from White Ribbon, Cessnock Correctional Centre, Survivors R Us, along with Cessnock and Mount View High Schools and St Philip’s Christian College.
Doors will open at 7am with official proceedings to start at 7.30am.
Tickets are $30 for chamber members and $35 for non-members and can be booked online at cessnockchamber.com.au by 5pm November 10.
About 70 people – including local business people, school students and teachers, police officers and corrective services representatives – attended last year’s breakfast.
