The tavern is proposed to be built in the Huntlee town centre on Wine Country Drive, between North Rothbury and Branxton.
A Coles supermarket, medical centre and childcare facility are also planned for the town centre.
The public is invited to have its say on the tavern proposal, which can be viewed at Cessnock Council’s administration building via council’s online Application Tracker.
Submissions close November 16.
