The experienced and respected team of doctors have special interests in Aboriginal health, chronic disease management, health assessments, skin conditions and minor surgical procedures and have a strong focus on preventative health.
Dr Ehsan Mozafari regularly visits many residents living in local residential aged care facilities.The doctors are currently involved Monash University Research study regarding healthy ageing. The clinical team is supported by 4 Practice Nurses Kathleen Robinson, Tim Usher and Catherine Waterton and Registered Midwife Michelle Warrington.
Working closely with the Doctors, these local Nurses are all highly experienced professionals specialising in women’s health, immunisation, co-ordinated veteran care, chronic disease management, Aboriginal health, midwifery, preventative health and aged care.
The Nurses and Midwife aim to provide the highest quality, dedicated care to the community with a focus on patient education and empowerment
The team at the practice is committed to working with Allied Health and is proud to be in partnership with a variety of service providers.
Working from a dedicated Allied Health office, Podiatrist Cameron Bell is available on Wednesdays, Dietitian Sarah Leoniuk will be there on Thursdays from Feast for Health and Rochelle Hardwick from Insight Exercise Physiology will be available on Fridays .
Bulk billed Telehealth services are available, enabling patients to Skype with Mental Health and other Specialists in Newcastle, Sydney and beyond, in the privacy and convenience of the practice, without the stress and expense of travelling out of the area.
From November, Sleep clinics will be offered by MedSleep and managed by Practice Nurse Tim Usher, free hearing clinics will also be provided by Australian Hearing.
Bulk billed after hours services are provided by Dial a Home Doctor, call 13 99 99. NSW Health Pathology are on site operating Monday to Friday: 8:00am -4:30pm providing blood tests, ECGs and Holter Monitoring.
Appointments can be made for Workcover, Centrelink and RMS form completion.
