Congratulations to Margan Family Wines and their passionate team.
Margan Family Wines will go on to represent the state as finalists at the Qantas Australian Tourism Awards on February 23 next year.
CHINA-READY WORKSHOP
HVWTA will be running a dedicated two-hour breakfast workshop for tourism operators in the Hunter Valley, with the focus of selling and engaging the Chinese market for businesses.
China is a key target market for the Hunter Valley and while they are already visiting the region in high numbers, all tourism operators must be well-prepared to engage and communicate effectively with one of the most lucrative travel markets in the world.
To help businesses identify and convert Chinese customers, the HVWTA has engaged the expertise of Rees International to conduct the workshop on Thursday, December 7.
The Hunter Valley has always been in a unique position, with access to Sydney only two hours away, meaning the influx in Chinese visitation is expected.
Attendees to the workshop will be able to take away with them advice on Chinese market segments and what it means for Australian businesses, emerging buying trends, Chinese social media channels, Chinese online purchasing platforms and what the Chinese visitor expects.
This incredibly important workshop is open to all businesses who would like to attend. For more information, email info@hvwta.com.au.
