From Barbies and BMX bikes back in 1983, to Frozen and Minecraft in 2016, the Christmas wishes of hundreds of children have been forwarded to Santa Claus via the Advertiser office over the years.

Local children are invited to drop their letters to Santa in the box at our office (155 Vincent Street, Cessnock) during business hours.

And, Santa has caught up to date with technology and can now receive letters via email. His email address is top-secret, so send your letters to cessnock@fairfaxmedia.com.au and we will forward them to Santa.

Letters are due by 5pm Thursday, December 14.

The December 20 edition will be the last Advertiser for the year, returning January 10.
