Manufacturing Assembly Hands / Trade Assistants Required

Labourpower Recruitment Services are seeking experienced Manufacturing Production staff for various host sites located across the Central Coast.

We are heading towards the busiest time of year and are now seeking experienced staff for both casual adhoc and ongoing casual assignments for the following roles –

• Industrial Assembly Hands
• Industrial Trades Assistants
• Forklift Storeman
• Food Production Staff

Locations – Various, applicants will need to be able to travel to the area of Gosford/Wyong and areas in between.

Pay Rates – pay rates will depend on site / tickets required

Duties for each site will vary but will mostly include the following –

• Manual handling 25kg repetitively
• Assisting trade qualified staff onsite – Carpenters , Fitters , Boilermakers etc
• Use of hand and power tools
• Working of plans and work sheets
• Working on production lines both stationary and hi speed
• weighing of materials /components /Ingredients
• Meeting work timelines and KPIS
• General Labouring
• Forklift operations ( if you hold a valid licence ONLY)

To be suitable you will need to meet the following criteria

• Have a previous Manufacturing /Trades Assistant background
• Have a valid drivers licence and own reliable vehicle
• Availability to work both adhoc shifts and ongoing shifts
• Availability to work day , afternoon and nightshifts
• Must be able to provide two recent work references
• Ability to pass a drug an alcohol screener
• Have good communication skills both written and verbal
