This year’s highly anticipated Hunter Valley Food & Wine Festival promises to be the biggest and best yet, so it’s only fitting that the Hunter Valley Wine & Tourism Association should have some big news in the lead up.
Firstly, this year’s festival will run for an unprecedented two months – right across May and June – and we are excited to announce the Hunter Valley Food & Wine Festival’s strategic and official partner for 2016 is Wine Selectors who has been exploring Australian wine for over 40 years.
From small beginnings in the Hunter Valley in 1975, Wine Selectors now proudly delivers the very best in Australian wine to over 200,000 customers throughout the country.
Alongside the digital advertising and Public Relations campaigns which are currently in market, Hunter Valley Wine & Food Festival is also being supported by a $70,000 It’s ON! in NSW campaign by Destination NSW.
This campaign, which will be in market from the May 2 to 28, aims to promote events as part of the Hunter Valley Wine and Food Festival, driving overnight visitation to the Hunter Valley throughout May and June 2016.
The campaign will target food and wine lovers, and couples that like to take short breaks from the Sydney region. The campaign will be promoted digitally on social media (Facebook), Google Display Network and Youtube video.
And what events there are, including the Cheese Lovers Festival at the Sebel Kirkton Park, By the Fireside Dinner Series at Hunter Valley Resort, Whispering Brook Long Olive Table Luncheon, Cork and Fork at the Vintage, Margan Meet the Farmer Dinner, Hunter Valley Wine Festival at Crowne Plaza, Burning of the Barrel at Glandore Estate, Lovedale Arts Festival and the broad Hunter Valley Wine and Food Festival.
Our Hunter Valley Wine Country Facebook page last week reached over 10,000 likes and is growing rapidly. Be sure to share our regular posts – this way word of our great region will expand even further.
