A group of six Endeavour Group Australia supported employees have their Certificate II in Laundry Operations.
The graduates have various levels of intellectual and physical disabilities and worked extremely hard to achieve this qualification.
“For many of them it represents an exciting new step towards independence and achieving their goals,” Endeavour Group Australia communications officer Kate Krajewski said.
“By having the opportunity to work in our laundry, build their work skills and undertake qualifications, our group are finding ways to not only achieve their own personal goals, but also find ways to activity contribute back to the local community.”
Endeavour Group’s vocational training specialist Christine Angelo-Lewis and chief people and culture officer Tabatha Kattau presented the group with their certificates at a presentation on May 11.
Two supported employees received Statement of Attainments.
