ParaQuad NSW is a not-for-profit, member-based association that aims to support people with a spinal cord injury and like neurological conditions, their families and carers at every stage of life.
With over 50 years’ experience in clinical services, community support, personal care, counselling and accommodation ParaQuad has supported the lives of those living with complex physical disabilities to achieve their life goals.
The major causes of traumatic spinal cord injury are traffic-related accidents (vehicles and motorcycles), falls, diving and sports-related accidents.
From the start of the NDIS trial site in 2013, Paraquad NSW reached out to clients and members and provided both education and support for the new scheme.
Since then it has continued to work closely with the NDIS and the community, empowering participants to get the most out of their NDIS plan.
