Students from Years 3 to 12 are invited to audition for Hope Valley Church’s Christmas production, A Play in a Manger.
Hope Valley will put its own Cessnock spin on the musical (which was created by Steve Moore, Rod Howard and David Guthrie).
The church puts on a Christmas production each year, and after last year’s shows filled the church to capacity, the 2016 production will be presented at Cessnock Performing Arts Centre.
Shows will be staged on December 18 (the Sunday before Christmas) and Christmas Eve.
Auditions for 15 small-to-large speaking parts will be held at the church on Monday, September 19 from 4pm to 6pm.

Local students in kindergarten to Year 12 are also welcome to join the chorus and will need to enrol in the Hope Valley Creative Academy choir group singing lesson for their age group for Term 4 (fees apply).
