A bull took a stroll through the new-look precinct to celebrate Maitland Show, which kicks off on Friday with three days of fun, entertainment, animals and a look at the paddock to plate process.

People can come to the show to see Lachie Cossor and his Outback Stockman Show, which features the Brahman cross bull called Jigsaw.

The stockman show will be held on Friday and Saturday.

Lachie and Jigsaw were surrounded by a crowd who were keen to meet them.

Many watched in disbelief as Jigsaw made his way up the mall. 

The show’s iconic Rodeo will kick off in the main arena, opposite the refurbished grandstand, at 5.30pm on Friday.
