Now in its 15th year, Sculpture in the Vineyards has become one of Australia’s longest running regional sculpture events.
The event is a month-long celebration of sculptures, wine and culture in Wollombi's boutique vineyards and picturesque landscapes.
The free public exhibition has attracted more than 7000 visitors annually.
The 2017 exhibition will run from October 28 to December 3.
The closing date for submissions is midnight on Monday, July 31.
For applicants wanting to submit their entries, a fee of $35 is required. The fee includes submission of up to three individual works for consideration (one or all may be selected).
In addition, artists are also able to submit one small sculpture for the indoor exhibition to be held at the Old Fire Shed Gallery in Wollombi.
Entry is $10, which is payable to Wollombi Valley Arts Council on successful selection for the indoor exhibition.
This year’s awards include Sculpture in the Vineyards 2017 Award ($4000), Emerging Artist Award ($1000), People’s Choice Award ($1000) and Sculpture in the Vineyards 2018 Residency.
