A TEENAGE boy has died after he fell from a water-skiing boat into the Williams River at Raymond Terrace.

Police said the 17-year-old was brought to the boat ramp near the Fitzgerald Bridge after falling from the boat and into the river shortly before 7pm on Friday.
The teen died at the scene, police said.
The 34-year-old male skipper of the boat was uninjured and taken to hospital for mandatory blood and urine tests.
A man skiing behind the boat was also uninjured and his ski boat is to be forensically examined, police said.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
