After heavy downpours at last year’s Hunter Valley show, festival goers were treated to blue skies and sunshine this year as they listened to the likes of Hot Dub Time Machine, Sneaky Sound System, The Kite String Tangle and Touch Sensitive among others.
Hot Dub Time Machine performed his infamous time-travelling DJ project, one that takes audiences through the decades of music from the 1950s to today.
The Hunter Valley performance also included special guest appearances from Australian artists George Maple (who sang Whitney Houston), Hugo from Flight Facilities, Connie from Sneaky Soundsystem (who gave a sassy take on Irene Cara's Flashdance), while Hot Dub's set came replete with a bonanza of special effects - fireworks, giant inflatable grapes, flames, and more.
The DJ later referred to the Hunter Valley event as "one of [his] favourite shows ever".
Meanwhile, it was a busy weekend for concerts in the Hunter Valley, as James Blunt performed on the same night over at Bimbadgen for A Day On The Green.
