MISSION: The Westpac Rescue Helicopter transported an injured motorcyclist from Wollombi to John Hunter Hospital on Sunday.
A 58-year-old man was flown to John Hunter Hospital on Sunday afternoon after he was injured in a motorcycle accident at Wollombi.

The man came off his bike and sustained leg, pelvic and associated injuries.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked to the scene around 1pm.
He was treated by clinical team and paramedics at the scene and was transported by the helicopter to John Hunter, reportedly in a stable condition.
