The film explores Cessnock’s historic buildings, complete with costumes from each era.
It has been created by and stars Josh Rogers, Jessika Threlfo and Zane Richardson-Chasty, who attend Wild Learning’s Friday film making and drama group for adults with intellectual disability or autism spectrum disorder.
It follows their debut film Travelling Through Books, which premiered in December.
Wild Learning creative facilitator Emmie Hallett said the trio is an amazing group of young people who have worked very hard on the production.
“They think of everything – we’re having a gluten-free morning tea, and biodegradable decorations, because they care about our local environment too,” she said.
The film screening will run from 11am to noon and all are welcome. RSVP to Emmie on 0412 835 865 or emmie@wildlearning.com.au.
