The cream of the festival crop, including Aussies Josh Earl and Tom Cashman, Suzi Ruffell (UK) and Sharul Channa (Singapore), will perform on the night, with comedy veteran Bob Franklin as MC.
It will be the eighth year the roadshow has stopped at the CPAC, and has become one of the biggest nights of the year at the venue.
A wine and cheese tasting will be held in the foyer for an hour before the show to raise money for the Cancer Council.
The Advertiser’s Cessnock Relay For Life team has partnered with Fairfax Newcastle-Hunter features manager Rebecca Gillon, who is participating in Stars of Newcastle Dance for Cancer 2018, for the fundraiser.
“Wine, cheese and comedy, while supporting a great cause – what better way to warm up on a cold winter’s night in Cessnock,” The Advertiser’s Relay For Life team captain Krystal Sellars said.
“Come along and taste some fantastic organic wine from The Green Cube, paired with delicious local cheese for an hour before the show.”
Tickets for the fundraiser are $50, including wine tasting, cheese, the comedy show and a donation to the Cancer Council.
The wine tasting and cheese will start at 7pm, and the show kicks off at 8pm. RSVP and payment is due May 31. Call the Advertiser on 4990 1244 for inquiries.
Show tickets only are available at the CPAC or online at cessnockperformingartscentre.com.au.
