The Golden Bear development comprises an 18-hole golf course, a 50-room hotel, 250 serviced apartments, 300 residential lots, an ancillary function centre and Aboriginal heritage centre, a retail and food outlet and spa and recreation facilities.
It is located opposite The Vintage, also an integrated tourism-residential development, which is accessed via McDonalds Road.
It has been supported by Cessnock City Council, and is referred to the Joint Regional Planning Panel for determination as the application’s capital investment value exceeds $20 million.
The meeting will be held at the Cessnock Council chambers on Thursday at 1.30pm.
