Previously known as the Weston Art Show (which ran for more than 50 years), the show was renamed in 2017 when the Anglican Parish of Mount Vincent handed it over to Towns With Heart.
The first show under the new name was a great success, attracting more than 200 high-quality entries.
Categories in the 2018 art show include miniature, traditional, contemporary, watercolour, flowers/still life, Indigenous, and pencil, pen or ink on paper, along with sections for infants, primary and high school students.
A major award of $2000 will be selected from all adult section entries, with cash prizes for the winners in all categories.
The official opening and prize ceremony will be held on Saturday, September 8 and the show will run until Tuesday, September 11.
Entries close at 5pm on August 30. For more information and entry forms, go to visitkurrikurri.com.
