Cessnock trampoline prodigy Kayla Germyn will jump to national attention on Sunday when she appears on the Channel Seven show Little Big Shots.

The 11-year-old will show off her feats of skill in front of host Shane Jacobson and the nation and she said the experience was “exciting.”
“It was kind of like a fashion parade because of all the lights and the cameras, but it was really cool and exciting.”
Proud dad Chris said Little Big Shots producers scouted his daughter for the show.
Kayla has three national titles under her belt – in the Under 11 individual trampoline category in 2016 and 17 as well as a win in the Under 13 synchronised category in 2017
“First off they rang the club to ask about Kayla,” Chris said. “The impression I got was that they were looking for someone on trampoline and they were looking at results from Gymnastics NSW and Kayla’s name kept coming up.
So what is it about the lure of the trampoline?
“It’s really fun because you get to jump really high and it feels like you’re flying.”
