The Advertiser is running a photo competition to find the best snaps from the festival.
Simply take a picture, email it to cessnock@fairfaxmedia.com.au, send it to us on Facebook, or use the hashtag #SA18Cessnock on Facebook before midnight Sunday, September 9 for your chance to win.
Photos must be set to public if using the hashtag or tagging The Advertiser’s account.
The photo with the most amount of votes on the Advertiser’s website will score a tickets for themselves and three friends to B2M Mamanta on Saturday 15 September.
There will certainly be no shortage of magic moments to capture, either with the lantern parade and the mesmerising table of fire that will take pride of place in the festival grounds sure to be hotspots.
There will also be plenty of unique faces to photograph, thanks to the Spring Awakening Honeyeayer mask and lantern making workshops that were held at Cessnock and Kurri libraries this week.
The Spring Awakening Festival will be on Friday 7 September in the grounds of Cessnock TAFE from 6pm.
Come along early to participate in the ever growing lantern parade, leaving from Cessnock Performing Arts Centre at 5.30pm and continuing in a colourful procession via Vincent Street to the TAFE grounds.
