The Comets are in the SGB Championship league play-off, Championship Shield and Knock-out Cup. They lead the Championship Shield going into the second leg.
The Comets, leading by two points after the away leg of the Shield final, were denied their chance to seal the title when their double header against Lakeside Hammers was washed out.
Campton starred again for the Comets scoring 15 points in Workington’s 46-44 win in the first leg.
The final is to be rescheduled, but in the meantime the Comets have an uphill battle to overturn a 16 point deficit from leg one of the Knockout Cup final against Scunthorpe Scorpions.
But given their track record of come from behind wins in the qualifying stages of the Championship league against Edinburgh and Knockout Cup against Glasgow Tigers, it is not beyond Workington.
The Comets qualified for the Knockout Cup final after trailing the Edinburgh Monarchs, featuring Heddon Greta’s Josh Pickering, by 28 points in the first leg. Campton scored 13 points in the second leg after leading his team with Jensen Rasmus with eight points in the first.

Workington are still waiting to see who they will race in the two-leg final of the Championship League final with Lakeside and the Peterborough Panthers which will be run this week.
Tipped by many at the start of the season to claim the wooden spoon, Workington has ridden a wave of momentum in the second half of the season to make the the three title finals.
