Well, you will have a chance to prove it next month, when the CYCOS Scooter Bike And Skate competition kicks off at Cessnock Skate Park.
The free event will cater to all skill levels including beginners, intermediate and advanced and there will be plenty of great prizes on offer.
If you are not keen to show off your skills, there will be just as much fun to be had on the sidelines with plenty of activities on offer during the day.
“This is a great way for young people to connect with those who share similar interests and passions. This event always attracts lots of interest and lots of dare devils showing off their skills,” Cessnock Mayor Bob Pynsent said.
Entry forms will be available on the day or can be picked up from the Cessnock Youth Centre (49D Aberdare Road, Cessnock)
They can also be downloaded from Council’s website at www.cessnock.nsw.gov.au/community/youth/events.
Young people who are under 18 years old will need their parent or guardian to sign the form. Everyone who competes will also need to wear a helmet.
The competition will be on Saturday 24 November from 10am to 4pm.
