The popular event, which drew around 1000 people last year is set to be even bigger and better in 2018 with an appearance from two of Disney’s most iconic characters, Mickey and Minnie Mouse who will be roaming through the crowd.
No festive celebration would be complete without a visit from the North Pole’s number one resident.
So, of course, Santa will also be in attendance and will be listening to all of the boys’ and girls’ Christmas wishes in a dedicated Santa Cave, set up in the school assembly hall.
The night will also feature an array of festive-themed entertainment, food and drinks and will conclude with a dazzling fireworks display.
The Kurri Kurri Carols By Candlelight will be on Sunday, December 9 at Kurri Kurri Public School (Lang Street) from 5pm.
Entry to the event is by a gold coin donation and all proceeds will go to supporting the local community.
