Wright came in at 1-11 against Laguna at Laguna, and blasted 17 boundaries and two maximums in a fine innings.
He became the fourth Greta/Branxton player already to score a century this season, and the eighth association player to do so.
This set up victory for his team as they amassed 6-276 batting first .
In the top grade Peden’s Hotel recorded their maiden win of the season with a hard fought five-wicket victory over Wine Country at Allandale.
Wine Country batted first and posted a modest 9-162 from their forty overs, with Dean Elliott (59no) notching an unbeaten half century.
Skipper Matt Lightfoot (23), Mark O’Hara (20) and Luke Jeans (18) made starts, while for Peden’s Hotel it was Scott Bendeich who kept a lid on things with 3-30 off 10.
The Piranhas reached the target in the 29th over after losing five wickets.
Opener Justin Barry got the visitors off to the required start and carried his bat in an unbeaten 74, receiving good support from Brett Hindmarsh (21), Bendeich (18), Michael Clark (16), Dale Johnston (15) and Daniel Russell (14).
Lightfoot (3-21 off 4) completed a good all- round game for the Wood Ducks, with Wayne Harris (2-45 off 7.1) picking up a brace.
At Miller Park Greta/Branxton made it seven wins on the trot when they disposed of Supporters Club by 51 runs.
Surprisingly sent in to bat first, the Blues accumulated nicely to post 214.
Josh Dagg returned to form with 66, Darren Thomson made a hard-hitting 56, with Cliff Newling (19) in a cameo appearance, Patrick Andrews (16no) and Greg Andrews (14) keeping the scorers busy.
Nathan Stapleford (3-42 off 7.4), Jordan Goldman (3-42 off 8) and Mick Gates (3-57 off 9) took a treble of wickets each for Supporters.
The Goannas lost their openers early in reply, but a face-saving 41 from Jack Morris got them back in the contest.
At the drinks interval things appeared evenly poised at 4-97.
However when Greta/Branxton’s Martin Shearer was introduced into the attack he quickly swung the momentum back in the home side’s favour with two wickets in his very first over.
Supporters were eventually all out in the 34th over for 163.
Gates completed an excellent all-round game with a sensible 54no, unfortunately running out of partners when someone needed to stick around.
Goldman made 15 at number 11 in what was also a commendable all-round game.
Shearer cleaned up the tail to finish with 6-36 off 7.1 overs for the Blues, and was on a hat-trick twice.
Thomson earned himself a beverage after a great all-round performance with 3-35 off 10 straight overs.
Mulbring remain in second place on the ladder following their eight-wicket victory over an out-of-sorts Bellbird at Mulbring Oval.
Bellbird won the toss and batted first, but were skittled for just 113 inside 32 overs.
Plenty of batsmen were set but could not push on, with Jason Orr (22), Ben Fairlie (19), Rob Drage (15) and Joey Barber (14) all making starts.
Newcastle import Brock Gilmour was the pick of the Mulbring attack with 4-34 off nine with a wide in between three of his wickets preventing him from taking the first hat-trick of the year.
Skipper Cameron Ross (3-24 off 8) and Ben Neaves (2-24 off 8) both bowled tidily in support.
Mulbring had little dramas reeling in the small target, reaching it in the 26th over after losing just two wickets.
Ross remained unbeaten on 39 along with Mick Mascord (31no), with Josh Lewis (26) also among the runs.
Ben Troke (1-18 off 7) and Elliot Gyler (1-38 off 6) took a wicket each for the Tigers.
Points Table: First Grade Greta/Branxton 52, Mulbring 45, Bellbird 41, Wine Country 33, Supporters 31, Peden’s Hotel 30.
