Police seized a number of items suspected of being stolen during a raid of a Cessnock property last Wednesday.
During the afternoon of December 5, police seized numerous items including clothing, razors, cosmetics and batteries all in new condition, two safes, new hand held power tools, jewellery, spot lights, a trail camera and two laptop computers from an Alkira Avenue address.
Police believe all the items were stolen.
At 8.20pm the same evening, police arrested and charged a 38-year old-man who arrived at the property.
Police will allege the man was in possession of a welder and two vacuum sealed packets of meat, which were believed to have been stolen from a Kurri Kurri retail store.
