Kirsty Gunther Academy of Dance (KGAD) welcomes students of all ages and abilities to enrol for 2019.  Kirsty has been dancing for 40 years and teaching dance for the past 26 years.

KGAD offers classes, for all ages, in a variety of dance styles including tap, jazz, hip-hop, RAD ballet, lyrical and contemporary.  The popular tiny tots classes, for children aged 18 months to 3 years old, are designed to help develop coordination, balance, rhythm and social skills.  Parents and carers are encouraged to join in during these fun classes with their tiny tots. For students aged 3 years and over, classes provide the opportunity to develop more technical aspects of dance in a fun and structured environment.

In 2018 students were given the opportunity to perform at many events including; Cessnock Performing Arts Centre season launch, Relay for Life, local school fetes, community festivals, spring fairs and Carols by Candlelight.

Students competed at numerous eisteddfods throughout NSW and participated workshops with leading dancers and performers from around the country. 2019 opportunities for the KGAD Performance Teams and students have already been planned.

The 2019 enrolment day is Tuesday, January 29, at Abermain from 4pm to 6.30pm. Classes resume on Monday, February 4. For more information contact Kirsty via email kirstygunther@gmail.com, phone 0409 452852, or visit facebook.
