Concert series RNB Vine Days returned to the region, playing to a packed field at Bimbadgen Estate.
One Thing star Amerie’s short set kicked off the performances followed by Never Ever singers All Saints.
What’s Your Flava crooner Craig David opened his smooth and soulful set with that song before delivering a high-energy performance laden with hits including Fill Me In.
As the evening cooled, Nelly closed his main set with signature hit Hot in Herre, firing up the crowd that had stayed energetic throughout a warm summer night.
It was the St Louis rapper and headliner’s second visit to the region in recent years after he played what was then Newcastle Panthers in January 2015.
Saturday’s show was the second Hunter stop for RNB Vine Days in as many years after it launched last year, with the inaugural show bringing TLC, Blackstreet and Boyz II Men.
