The show continues at Cessnock Showground throughout the rest of Friday and finishes with a bang with fireworks on Saturday night.
There's plenty of fun before then though.
The mini trotters will be on the track from 6pm on Friday followed by riders from Kurri Kurri Speedway, who will also be at the show on Saturday night.
The demolition derby will have hearts racing at 7.30pm on Saturday followed by a fireworks spectacular at 9pm.
Stilt walkers will be roaming around from 6.30pm to 8.30pm on Saturday while Professor Wallace’s Puppet Show is on both days.
All times are approximate.
Entry to the show is $10 for adults, $5 for pensioners and kids under 16, $25 for family (two adults and three children) and kids under 5 years free.
