In a step towards creating a more inclusive and diverse festival experience, the initiative is supported by Ability Links NSW to assist those who are deaf or hard of hearing.
Festival director Adrian Buckley said he believed that creating a space embracing of all was a key reason why the festival had enjoyed such longevity as well as sold out the last four years.
“We pride ourselves on creating an inclusive space where everyone feels safe, supported and can have a great time and this is just another step forward in creating a truly welcoming event," he said.
Wollombi announced their Friday night lineup a few weeks ago and it’s a belter with the full festival lineup announced on April 1st.
The names already announced on the lineup include Electric Swing Circus (UK), Rhythm Hunters, Karen Lee Andrews, Liam Gale & the Ponytails and Jordan McRobbie.
More than 60 per cent of tickets already have already sold for the September event.
Not all songs will be Auslan accessible, however organisers say as many will be as possible.
