NNSWF club development officer Phillip Andrews along with Hunter Valley Football representatives presented the club at their March committee meeting with the their level 1 certificate.
Andrews said level 1 accreditation through the NCAS was a signal to sponsors, grant providers, club members and the community that Weston Junior FC has ensured their governance was in order.
He said they were also sending a strong message that the committee was motivated to improve opportunities for playing football in Weston.
‘’Weston Junior FC has ambitions to grow and better serve the needs of all junior footballers in the Weston area," Andrews said
"The core group of committee members running Weston Junior FC have been together for a few years and are beginning to make positive changes at an administration level while initiating their plan to attract new players and grow the number of returning players.
“Weston Junior FC ran a successful MiniRoos Kick-Off program in 2018 aimed directly at attracting young footballers to their club and plan to provide this opportunity again this year.
"The committee is excited about the increase in registrations for 2019 and they are extremely proud that they will be fielding four female only MiniRoos teams this season.”
