Kurri Kurri Library is hosting two of Australia's bestselling crime authors for a free talk and masterclass

BUDDING authors and readers will have the opportunity to meet two bestselling Australian authors at Kurri Kurri Library on Saturday.

Jaye Ford and Fiona McArthur will talk about their journey as writers and careers as authors.

Library Services coordinator Rose-marie Walters is encouraging locals to come along and enjoy this fabulous and free author talk and masterclass. "Jaye and Fiona are acclaimed multi-published Australian authors," she said.

"Whether you are looking to send to publishers or just enjoy writing as a hobby, their author talk and Masterclass are a way of sharing the art of writing and love of the written word."

'Crime, Romance and a Masterclass on Getting It Done' will follow the talk.

The masterclass will look at unlocking some of the techniques essential to all writers including creating characters and building tension.

Both events are free and bookings are essential. The talk will run from 10.30am to 11.30am, and the masterclass will run from 12.30am to 2.30pm.
